Stray Animal Impound and Redemption (Lost Pets!)

The Healdsburg Animal Shelter accepts stray animals from within the city limits. If you have found a stray cat or dog, you may either bring it into the Animal Shelter Tuesday through Saturday between 9 AM and 5 PM or call us at (707) 431-3383 to arrange a pick up. For collection of animals found outside of the Healdsburg city limits, please call Sonoma County Animal Regulation at (707) 565-7100. If you have lost your pet and live within the city limits, visit the Animal Shelter as soon as possible to look for you pet and to file a lost report. Animal viewing times are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you live outside the city limits, please contact your local shelter, animal control agency or police or sheriff's department. Typically, there is a fine to redeem your animal.
