Thumper and his brother Bugs were brought to us by their owner, who could no longer care for them. It appears they didn't receive a lot of handling in the past so they can be shy about being picked up or cuddled. The brothers would do best in a home with older children.
Did you know that spaying and neutering your rabbits and guinea pigs actually make them friendlier and gentler pets? It’s true! That’s why all of our “little critters” are “fixed” before going up for adoption. Oftentimes parents get rabbits and guinea pigs as pets for young children. But please realize that these animals require attention too, and if you're considering adopting a small animal please make sure you have all the information, time and love needed to care for these cuddly critters!
