I am very happy to have Wunjo home with me, once again (and so
is he!). You don't know, but Wunjo was originally my cat, adopted
from HAS in 2002, and now he has been readopted by me. I won't be
changing his name, as it aptly means "joy", and I gave him that
name.
Wunjo was a trooper with our 16 hour journey from Healdsburg to
his new home in the mountains of North Carolina ... 2 flights, a 3
hour layover in Denver, and then a 3 1/2 hour drive from Atlanta to
home. He sat quietly in his crate under the seat in front of meon
the planes, and then he slept on my lap for the final drive in the
car. He has taken beautifully to his new house, and has gently
"trained" our Golden Retriever puppy on the proper procedures and
art of approaching a cat.
They are quite friendly with one another, and even sleep
nose-to-nose at night.
Wunjo was fascinated to watch his first snow fall from our living
room window, as you can see from the picture .
We are both grateful for our reunion and we will remain
inseparable!
Thank you for taking such good care of him until I could get to
Healdsburg to bring him home.
Best regards,
Leslie Maziejka
